More For My House

It might be this weekend before I'm able to get the Colorado pictures posted. It seems that six days off from the farm is apparently a lot of time off! The mosquitos have officially invaded and felt like it's their farm now, but of course being the obnoxious guests they are, they've failed to keep the lawn mowed.

So they're now officially un-invited. Bug spraying has commenced.

In the meantime, I did want to share a couple of items I spotted for my house. I'm always looking for ideas, and I take pictures whenever I can of things that I feel would be great for the renovation.

Here are the pavers I want for my back patio:

They'll look terrific right up against the existing cement sidewalks and planter.

Then in one store in Ft. Collins I found this beauty:

It's pricetag? $5000. Yikes. And when you think about all my critters--double yikes. So, I took a picture hoping that when my house is finished, I might be able to find a cheaper version of the same style, or even refurbish an older couch in this style.

It was purple-ish grey. If you can't tell, I love purple. And grey.
