Evie, the mini-Aussie:
Charlie, my regular-sized Aussie:
And Sophie, my part-rat-terrier-part-neighbor's-dog cross:
Since I have no children, my dogs basically are my kids, and they act like it. They know how to put on the "look." You know, the one you can't resist.
Help me, Rhonda.
They love to go places with me, but unlike human kids, they never ask if we're there yet.
Yes, that's poor Charlie being used as a booster-seat.
My "kids" like to play outside, too.

You know- when I was 28-30 I desperately wanted a baby. Then I hit 31 and the urge was gone. All my friends talk about all the hoops they have to jump through for their kids: whole weekends taken up for tournaments, lessons, bake sales... I decided I don't need that. I'll take the four-legged furries over the two-legged hairless any day.
I have 2 furbabies and I love them except at 4am when they wake me up... LOL. But sometimes they are the best to have :)
They are adorable and good company. I have two Aussies, Murphy and Maggie (brother and sister a year apart). They keep me laughing...most of the time.
Love your kids. They are adorable! And I can tell they are not spoiled at all! ☺
They are (wo)man's best friend! Cute pictures :)
That little Evie is just the cutest thing ever!
Amen to this post! I love your pictures and your kids are adorable. I don't have two legged kids either so my critters are my kids. I had 3 labs who were my heart & soul. Sadly I lost all of them within 2 years of each other and I still mourn each day for them. I miss them so very much. I do have my Buddy and he is spoiled now that he is an only child ;)
