Of course, I didn't do all this in the past 1001 days. More like 4004 days! But, reflecting on what I've had the amazing opportunity to experience in the past several years is a lot of fun. Here's to hoping the next 1001 is just as fun!

You've inspired me. I start my own 101 in 1001. I only got to 30 so far but I'll add more as I think of them. I like to look forward and having something to look forward too is just what I needed.

WOW Jessie!! This is fabulous! I just think it is wonderful you have been able to do ALL those things. I may have to start my list...and I'm almost twice your age and not sure I can come up with so many cool experiences. But it sure makes you think an appreciate life. I'd love to see the poem you had published.

It must have been so much fun traveling to all those places. I'd love to travel, but for some reason my husband has been dragging his feet getting his danged passport. Men!
You ladies are all making me blush! I feel very lucky to have gotten to do these things. I never really thought it was anything more than anyone else--just different from every one else's lists :) I've never had a child, or been skiing. I hadn't watched the Rocky Horror Picture show until a couple of years ago!
Shannon, I never could get my husband to travel, either, but then he got stationed overseas so he didn't have a choice LOL. Other trips were for college classes or with girlfriends.
Jean, you're so sweet but you have had quite a few adventures that I know of, and I'm sure there are many, many more! Now that you asked me about the poem I need to find it! I'll do a post on the poem. They're not that great--every time I re-read one I have to fight the urge to revise it LOL.

So you went to Chicago but didn't peruse Michigan Ave? But you probably went to a Cubs game, which I sadly didn't. I need to go back and see the art museum, too, although I'd feel the urge to do the Ferris Bueller thing and that might not be good....
Actually, I did peruse Michigan Ave. I also saw Second City perform (a friend found the cast list from that night and Steve Carrell and Stephen Colbert were on it) and toured the Museum of Broadcast Communications.
And yes, I have seen a game at Wrigley... Twice... :) I've also seen a Blackhawks game at the United Center, a Royals-Rockies game at Coors Field in Denver and been to soccer-specific stadiums in Denver, Chicago, Dallas, Columbus (OH), and Los Angeles.
And yes, I knew what you meant... As my mom says, "Listen to what I mean, not what I say..." :D

I'd love to go to Wrigley Field. I've seen a game at Coors Field, too, and then saw that Texas game, and Royals of course. I think that's it for baseball. I'm severely lacking in that area....
