Eddie wanted to get a closer look of that sweet face, but Suzie really wasn't interested (she's 10 months pregnant, so who could blame her?)
She had all kinds of fun playing today. She's been in her foaling pen for a week so she took full advantage of the opportunity to stretch her legs.
Paula enjoyed the gorgeous day as well! 
I tell ya what, days like this, watching the "kids" play just really makes every bit of hard work entirely worth it.
Why else would I work this hard to keep them. Yeah, I might be crazy, but not quite that crazy.

I remember my aunts one stallion, double blue moon or moony as he was called used to break fencing all the time. He would run through electric, wire, wood, ANYTHING. One day he broke through the high strength wire fencing into a paddock with two very b*tchy pregnant mares. Well long story short they kicked the living sh*t out of him, almost completely severing his one ear. Never broke out of a paddock again, ever.
Beautiful photos, I love Suzie, what a dolll! The barn owl below is a bit sad but also neat to look at. Such beautiful creatures.
Sydney, that's a pretty funny story. I always say there's nothing better for a stud than to have a mean old broodie give them the what-for :) Fortunately Eddie is incredibly respectful of fences, but as a youngin he did get the wind knocked out of him by a broodie he jumped. He never did that again!
Thank you, Jennifer! Suzie is due for some training but so far I am very impressed with her. She's very easy on the eyes :) The barn owl was sad but fascinating.... Hopefully his buddies have stuck around. I love hearing them.
