I never realized how being unemployed could keep me so busy! Friday was off to Wichita with Dad to shop for decor for his bedroom and I had to get a new phone and buy ink for my printer so I could print off resumes, then Saturday was putting up his blinds and bed and then going to Hutch to buy a new mailbox post for the farm, then Sunday I went grocery shopping for the week, trimmed Paula's feet, worked with Betty on her feet, cleaned house and started my online research.
Today I organized my online files, changed a lot of my information online that I needed to update and apply for, inquired about a couple of school programs, groomed Charlie, cleaned out my car, sent my sister's birthday card off, and then greeted my friends Linda and Barry when they came to look at Moose.
Like I mentioned before, Fabian owes his life to these two. Fabian's momma, when she was pregnant with him, basically lost her entire back hoof. If she had not been pregnant, the easiest thing would have been to euthanize her, but Linda was determined to save her and her unborn foal. She painstakingly cared for Fabian's momma and she made a full recovery and had Fabian. Needless to say, it was a happy reunion for all. I don't think Fabian quite knows that he just saw his guardian angels today, but he seemed to enjoy the attention nonetheless.
Although their trip was made to look at Moose, they brought me a little something....
I need her like I need another hole in my head, but she's a lot cuter than another hole in my head would be!
She's a mini-Aussie, and other than not having the white collar around her neck, she looks like she could be Charlie's little mini-me! I'll get more pictures when she's better settled-in, of course. She's only 10 weeks old and such a tiny little girl. I guess if nothing else I definitely have more time to house train a dog right now!
Linda loved Moose, so his sale is pending now. I appreciate everyone's kind comments on him. I'm glad that he'll go to a knowledgable show home!
So...being jobless has been anything than boring...so far! For example, if nothing else, I get to see what the animals do all day while I've been gone.
I knew there was a reason I call Milton "butthead."

I'm glad Moose is (maybe) going to a good, loving home. He's such a cutie and certainly deserves it!
The puppy is adorable.
You've been busy. Glad to hear Moose is (maybe?) going to a good home, it's so nice to know the people that are interested. And more important to know they are knowledgeable and caring.
Your pup is adorable. Any names yet? I have two Aussies. Maggie and Murphy(brother and sister a year apart). They are sweet and smart. Good luck with your new addition and your job search.
Precious puppy!! Love the last pic and caption ;)
"butthead" with the picture -- hahahahahahahaha :)
She's cute! At least you'll be able to potty train her, being home and all.
Yeah, if I didn't need the money so bad, I'd be happy to stay at home all the time. There's plenty to keep me busy/
Awwww, she's just the cutest little puppy ever :)
I'm glad Moose is going to a good home too. Sounds like a great couple who will do well by him.
Wow, you have done a lot!! Awe and a cute puppy! I love puppies. I had an Aussie and he got stolen so we got my Cocker Spaniel (in door dog so hopefully she'll get to stay... LOL, hey maybe you can work on house breaking her for me ;)) and now we're looking at getting another outdoor dog....
A mini Quimby!!! ;-)
