Art and the Gray Horse

I love my gray horse.

I loved her mother, too. She was gray. I miss her.

Now, thanks to the beautiful artwork of Jennifer MacNeill-Traylor of Gypsy Mare Studios I can keep her close to my heart...always.

Love the picture of Paula! I need to start playing with my Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop again.

How much does the custom necklace cost? I would like to have something like that of my mare Chrissy. I still have her tail hair saved as well:-(

Thank you!! I rarely have time to read the tutorials and play with Photoshop but it's fun when I can get it done :)

The necklace was very reasonable. Email her for a price through her website because mine included shipping, so not sure how much it would change from place to place (she's out of PA). It was well worth it though. I can't wait to get it!

I never got any tail hair from Larry (wasn't even told she died until supposedly two weeks after she died), so this will be the best I'll be able to do. I don't know if Jennifer can, but perhaps she could incorporate some tail hair into the design???? That might be very pretty!

She was so fast, too. She had the piece done within a week of me requesting it. I've never gotten anything custom done so reasonably and quickly. She rocks :)

Thank you so much for the mention on your blog. Such a pretty mare. I am so sorry she passed.

Thanks Jessie, I will have to get in touch with her. Shipping can't be too bad from PA to NY lol.

You have something much more precious that tail hair... you have Paula:-)

I did find some companies that do custom horsehair products. I would like to get a bracelet & keychain.
