Checkmark

It's no secret that Sophie's ears are a little...um...off.

It's a detail that began to emerge back when she was a wee pup,

and they've pretty much been stuck in the same position ever since.

The other day Sarah was making fun of Sophie's ears and she gave her a new nickname because of them:

"Checkmark."

Now I will never again be able to take a multiple-choice test or organize my to-do list without thinking of Sophie's freaky ears....

Please allow me to introduce my children: Checkmark, Fat Boy, and Up-Chuck.

I've said it before and it just gets truer every day: It's a good thing I never had any real children!
